Sourced: Inflamax Research

A large part of my job as Editorial Research Director is to source stories for our monthly issues. Here is a full list of all the editorial projects I’ve sourced and lead in collaboration with other writers at Business Elite Canada.

Because Business Elite Canada’s relationship with Deloitte Canada, we were able to contact Canada’s Best Managed companies before their official announcement. I was able to source an interesting story from Inflamax Research. The small clinical research operation (CRO), quickly grew to 400 employees since being founded in 2012. The feature was published in our May issue of Business Elite Canada.

Foodservice and Foodies meet at the Restaurants Canada Show

This News Event Feature (BEC On-Site) was pursued individually with the approval of Business Elite Canada. All photography and social media sharing (via Instagram and Twitter) courtesy of myself. All text content reviewed by Business Elite Canada Editor-in-Chief.

In pursuing this project, my goal was to build Business Elite Canada’s presence in the food and beverage sector. Attending the Restaurants Canada was the best way to get an in-depth perspective on the collaborative aspects of the Food Industry. This On-Site piece was written after the fact, but while at the press events and throughout the show I was live tweeting and taking interviews and pictures. I didn’t collaborate much with Restaurants Canada, but they were very receptive to the social media exposure (Twitter and Instagram).
